Matching map feature to synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images for navigation is very important in automated navigate vehicle. This paper summarizes current situation of matching map feature to SAR images, discusses the typical techniques of map-matching, presents the problems in map-matching algorithm studies and poses new way of the approach.
