本文从研究雷达阵地地形图，提取地形图高度数据入手，进而利用提取的高度数据计算雷达的探测范围。它将计算机技术应用到研究雷达探测性能领域中，这为研究雷达网部署优化提供了基础。

In this paper, firstly we study a radar position terrain map and take terrainelevation data, then calculate radar survey range. Computer is applied in studing radar surveyperformance.That gives the fundamental of studing radar net plan optimization.
