The passive target detection technique based on the non cooperative illumination (such as FM broadcasting or TV transmission signals) is an interesting subject at all times. Lots of papers and articles have been published in the related literatures. Additionally, many target detection approaches are presented, most of which are based on the matching filter. Theoretic analysis of a system with such a matching filter technique is performed and demonstrated by computer simulation.
