The structure features of TMS320X240 are described in detail and an AC servo system based on Chip TMS320X240 and magnetic field directional control method is presented. In this paper, the schematic diagram and design program of a fully digitized AC servo system based on this chip are also given. Experimental results show that the system has a compact structure and good dynamic and static characteristics.
