被动式毫米波具有穿透性的优点 ,能穿透雾、烟、衣物等 ,因此被用来检测藏匿于人衣物下的武器。被动式毫米波成像系统获得的图像都很模糊 ,并且由于衍射使生成图像的带宽很窄。文中研究被动式毫米波成像图像的增强问题 ,在灰度调整和非线性外推增强相结合的基础上 ,提出了一种有效地被动式毫米波成像图像的增强算法。应用该算法增强后的图像 ,清晰度明显优于原始图像。

Passive MM wave has the advantage of penetration through fog, smoke, clothing etc. thug makeing it posible to detect weapons concealed underneath a person's clothing. Images obtained by passive millimeter-wave systems are heavily blured and bandlimited owing to diffraction. In this paper, a technique for enhancing the sharpness of a passive millimetre-wave image is described. After adjusting the gray scale, the method applies the nonlinear extrapolation algorithm to the passive millimetre-wave images. The results demostrate that the algorithm is efficient for the passive millimetre-wave images. [
