It is often desirable to widen the interference null width in an adapted pattern to impart robustness into the adapted array in some real environments. In this paper, a new pattern null depth adjustment method is derived by weighting the null-matrix, so that it decreases the pattern's distortion. Moreover, this method is simple and easy to process. Computer simulation results demonstrate the effect of improvement.
