冲激雷达是近年来世界发现研究和发展起来的一种新探测体制，一些发达国家对冲激雷达探测技术进行了大量而深入的研究和产品研制。我国开展这项技术研究较晚，应用性研究很少，而我国市场存在着对冲激雷达探测技术产品急切的需求。文中对国内外冲激雷达探测技术研究现状及发展趋势进行了介绍，并对冲激雷达探测技术的产业关联度以及冲激雷达技术产品的广阔市场前景进行了分析。对开创研制我国的首批冲激雷达产品、填补我国这方面的空白有一定的促进作用。
