根据隔片圆极化器的特点及其S参数的无耗特性,通过对S参数的分析得出了电场与隔片平行端口的驻波是影响其主要技术指标的关键因素,并因此提出了此器件的主要设计原则是除了保证总相移差为90°外,就是降低该端口的反射,也就是保证了等幅条件。设计实例的仿真结果与分析基本符合。

Basing on the characteristics of septum polarizer and its unitary S matrix. Through the analysis of its S matrix it has been pointed out that the reflection of the port at which the electric field is parallel to septum is crucial to the performance of septum polarizer. This paper describes the design principle of this kind of component. The simulated results of this design show that good conformity to the analysis.
