雷达信号模拟技术在现代雷达系统中有着重要的应用。随着半导体技术的迅猛发展,FPGA器件的工作频率和接口带宽越来越高,这使得利用高性能FPGA配合超高速DAC器件直接产生宽带雷达信号成为可能。该文介绍了一种基于Xilinx公司最新一代的Virtex-4系列超大规模FPGA芯片的雷达信号模拟系统,该系统最高转换速率可以达到1Gs/s,分辨率为14bit。

Radar signal simulation is important in modem radar system. With the development of semiconductor technology,the clock frequency and interface bandwidth of FPGA chip are improved rapidly. These made it possible that using high performance FPGA and high speed DAC chip to generate wideband radar signal becomes possible. This paper presents a radar signal simulation system based on Virtex-4 FPGA which is the newest generation of FPGA from Xilinx Inc. The system is capable of up to l Gsps transfer data rate, 14 bit resolution. Testing result is provided in the end.
