This paper discusses the necessity of passive ranging of radar under barrage jamming,mainly desscribes the theories and applicable conditions of angle-rate ranging and triangular ranging.The ranging algorithms are emulated with Matlab and conclusions for various conditions are drawn.It also touches upon some other methods of passive ranging.
