和常规雷达相比,频率步进雷达脉冲重复频率高、测量不模糊距离短,降低了雷达的有效作用范围并易引起成像多目标混淆。其结果限制了频率步进雷达作为一种高分辨率雷达在实际中的使用。文中从数学上分析了存在问题的原因,提出了一种能解测距模糊的步进频率脉冲编码方法。该方法能区分出相隔一个或数个脉冲重复周期的目标,具有物理意义明确,易于工程实现等优点。计算机仿真验证了该方法的可行性。

Compared with the traditional radar, the stepped frequency radar has high pulse repeating frequency and short unambiguous detection range. It reduces performance of range measurement and is easy to bring confusion of muhiple targets and radar imaging. In this paper, such phenomenon is analyzed and a new frequency-coded pulse waveform to get unambiguous detection range is proposed. This coded method can separate targets which are one or several pulse repetition interval away and has the advantage of easy implementation and high processing efficiency. Numerical simulations of the method are also presented.
