Deep space detection is an important part of research in space technology, and deep space radar is the important equipment for deep space detection. The type of deep space radar and the role in the deep space detection are described in this paper. The relationship and difference with the Deep Space Network (DSN) are addressed. The construction and feature of American GSSR deep space radar is studied. The primary theory of information extraction in deep space radar for deep space detection is presented.
