Software radio ieflects the major change in radio design mode, many of its functions can be achieved by programmable signal processor. This paper designed a programmable base band signal generator of variable bandwidth based on the combination of FPGA and DSS using large-seale integrated circuits. The signal bandwidth can be changed by controlling the signal bandwidtt through the control of the rate of reading data.
