Based on the meteorological equation of weather radar,combined with our experiences of measuring radar parameters,adjusting system adaptors,calibrating echo intensity in these years and widely synthesizing calibration advices of many CINRAD designers,in this article,the echo intensity calibration theory,the calibration flow charts and a detailed calibration method for CINRAD-S were stated,especially many correlated adaptors were explained and the calibration results were presented.It is very important for CINRAD to accurately probe weather echo.
