对于监测系统的性能评价,最为直观的方法就是比较校准前后的远场方向图。对于陆基大型有源相控阵雷达,其方向图需要通过飞机或飞艇等工具在空中飞行测量,不仅设备量大,操作复杂,而且成本昂贵,而对监测系统性能的研究,没有必要测量阵面的完整方向图。文中提出了一个简单易行的方法,即在阵列中连续选取其中少数单元组成一个小阵列,其远场距离要比整个雷达阵列的远场距离小多,通过改装移动测试车辆,在地面远场处对小阵列的方向图进行测量、比较,就可以验证监测系统的效果。实验结果表明,小阵列校准后方向图与理论值符合,性能指标要明显优于

[Abstract]
The simplest method to judge the performance of a calibration system for active phased-array antennas,it by is the comparison between the far-field radiation pattern of the original array and that after calibration.The pattern measurement of large size phased-array antennas is carried out using airborne equipments.It is complicated,and has high cost.However,the complete far-field pattern is not necessary for judging the calibration system performance.In this paper,a simple method is put forward.From the large array small phased-array antenna consisted of several contiguous elements is formed.The far-field range of it is thus decreased so much that one can measure the pattern on the ground using mobile test vehicle.Experimental results show that the patterns of the small phased-array antenna after calibration agree with theoretical analysis;meanwhile,the calibration system works very well and can be applied to other channels.
