针对传统的雷达测距方法中实现皮秒级的时间测量比较困难;微波计数器及TDC-GP时间数字转换芯片可以达到 皮秒量级的时间测量,但价格昂贵,不能得到广泛应用。文中提出了一种基于时间-电压转换原理,通过积分运算电路将 时间的测量转化为电压的测量,进而达到测量距离的目的。实验结果表明,当系统采用14位A/D转换可以实现6.1 ps的 时延测量,当系统采用16位A/D转换,可以测得1.5 ps的时延。该方法实现简单,并且降低了雷达系统的成本,远距离和 近距离的测量均适用,不存在距离模糊问题。

In the traditional radar ranging method, it is difficult to measure the time of picoseconds. The microwave counter and TDC-GP can realize time measurement, but they can忆t be used widely in the application field because of high cost of the system. To solve these problems, the method of time-voltage conversion is proposed in this paper. The results show that when 14 bit of A/ D converter is adopted in this method, which can measure the time-delay of 6. 1 picoseconds. When 16 bit of A/ D converter is adopted, then 1. 5 picoseconds time-delay can be measured. The ranging method of time-voltage conversion is operated simply, it can be applied to measure different distance, there is no ambiguous distance problem, and the cost of the radar system can be reduced greatly.
