The importance of radar target electromagnetic scattering is introduced briefly, and the classification of methods for obtaining electromagnetic scattering data is shown firstly. Then basic principle, history and application of electromagnetic simulation and measurement are described in detail. The progress and the current research status of our country are given, and the development prospects of electromagnetic simulation and measurement is summarized finally.
