根据现代雷达系统的要求,设计制作了一种具有宽带宽波束扫描特性的椭圆单极子天线。分析了天线的阻抗特性、 辐射特性以及表面电流分布特性。测量结果表明,该天线的有效工作带宽为1.65 GHz ~13.15 GHz,方位面实现了全向辐 射,俯仰面3 dB波束扫描范围大于60。。天线体积较小,结构简单,加工方便,适合应用于超宽带雷达系统的天线单元。

For the requirement of the modern radar communication system, a elliptical monopole antenna operation with wide bandwidth and broad beam-width is proposed and fabricated. Its impedance characteristic and radiation performance are analyzed. The measured results show that the antenna has a high ultra-wideband capability, its effective operation bandwidth covers from 1.65 GHz ~13.15 GHz,the H-plane achieves a omni-directional radiation and the 3 dB beam-width of the E-plane exceeds 60 degrees. Its size is small and it has simple structure, it can be applied for ultra-wideband radar communication system.
