端射阵天线是指波束指向垂直于阵列法线方向的一类特殊雷达天线,由于其具有低剖面和强定向辐射特性,因而特别适合用于机载雷达的补盲。首先,以均匀端射线阵为阵元组建了端射阵列天线,并在端射阵机载雷达几何模型的基础上对端射阵天线的方向图特性进行了分析;然后,进一步构建端射阵机载雷达的杂波回波数学模型;最后,对端射阵机载雷达的杂波空时谱以及在不同情况下的杂波距离-多普勒谱进行了仿真分析,并与传统侧射阵机载雷达的杂波谱进行了比较。理论与仿真结果表明:所建端射阵空时二维杂波模型是合理的,可为下一步开展端射阵机载雷达空时自适应杂波抑制方法的研究提供数据来源。

End-fire array antenna refers to a special type of radar antenna whose main beam is directed perpendicular to the normal direction of the array. Because of its low profile and high-direction radiation characteristics, it is particularly suitable for blind compensation of airborne radar. End-fire antenna is formed with uniform end-fire linear arrays as elements and the characteristics of end-fire array antenna pattern are analyzed based on the geometric model of it at first. On the basis of this, the mathematical model of clutter echo of end-fire array antenna is constructed. Furthermore, the space-time clutter spectrum and the range-Doppler spectrum of end-fire array airborne radar under different conditions are simulated and analyzed, which is also compared with that of side-fire array airborne radar. Theoretical analysis and simulation results suggest that the space-time two-dimensional clutter model of end-fire array constructed in the paper is reasonable, which can provide data source for the research on space-time adaptive clutter suppression methods for end-fire array airborne radar.
