针对数字阵列机载预警雷达的子阵划分问题,提出一种基于遗传算法的雷达子阵划分方法。该方法在子阵数给定的情况下,以最大化空时自适应处理(STAP)的改善因子为优化准则,利用遗传算法优化数字阵列机载预警雷达的子阵划分。仿真和数字阵列机载预警雷达实测数据验证表明:子阵优化不仅可以提升STAP抑制杂波和干扰的性能,还可以提升预警雷达检测远距离(或近主瓣杂波)弱小目标的能力。

Aiming at the problem of sub-array partition of airborne early warning radar with digital array, a method of radar sub-array partition based on genetic algorithm is proposed. The genetic algorithm is used in this method to optimize the sub-array partition of digital array airborne early warning radar with a given number of sub-arrays and with the maximization of improvement factor of spacetime adaptive processing (STAP) as optimization criterion. Simulation and experimental data validations of digital array airborne early warning radar show that sub-array optimization can not only improve the performance of STAP to suppress clutter and jamming, but also enhance the ability of early warning radar to detect long-range (or near main lobe clutter) dim and small targets.
