在共形阵中,由于阵元最大指向不一致以及阵面曲率影响,造成辐射单元的方向图各不相同,阵因子与单元因子难以分离;并且各个单元的极化各不相同,导致产生严重的交叉极化分量。通常的平面相控阵波束合成算法已不能适用于共形相控阵。针对以上问题,提出一种基于自适应极化合成的球面共形相控阵波束合成算法,将极化合成问题转变为相位补偿问题,能够根据共形相控阵天线波束指向角的变化,自适应改变各通道极化补偿相位;设置选通角,根据波束指向实时选通部分阵面,采用坐标变换和矢量合成方法实现球面共形相控阵天线的波束合成。通过加工和测试天线样机,验证了波束合成算法的性能。

In conformal array, due to the inconsistency of the maximum orientation of the elements and the influence of the curvature of the array surface, the patterns of these radiation elements are different, and it is difficult to separate the array factor and element factor. Also, the polarization of each element is different, resulting in serious cross polarization component. The usual beam synthesis algorithm of plane phased array can't be applied to conformal phased array. In view of the above problems, a beam forming algorithm of spherical conformal phased array based on self-adaptive polarization synthesis is proposed, which can transform the polarization synthesis problem into the phase compensation problem, and adaptively change the polarization compensation phase of each channel according to the change of the beam direction of the conformal phased array antenna. It can also set the gated angle, select part of the array in real time according to the beam direction, and use coordinate transformation and adopt vector synthesis to realize the beam forming of spherical conformal phased array antenna. The antenna prototype is manufactured and tested to verify the performance of the beam forming algorithm.
