角度测量是现代雷达的基本功能之一,而和-差单脉冲测角是雷达中常用的一种测角方式。文中以均匀线阵为例, 给出了和波束、差波束以及二者之比,在此基础上,假设背景噪声服从零均值高斯分布,推导了和-差单脉冲测角的潜在测量精度计算公式,指出当目标位于和波束指向上时,信噪比最大,测量精度最高;当目标偏离和波束指向时,信噪比减小,测角误差增大。通过仿真实验进行了验证,所得结论对工程实际具有参考意义。

The angle measurement is one of the fundamental functions of modern radar, and the sum-difference monopulse technique is a widely-used angle measurement approach in the radar. Taking the uniform linear array as an example, this paper firstly derives the sum beam, difference beam and their ratio. Assuming the noise obeys the Gaussian distribution with zero mean, this paper then derives the computation formula of potential measurement precision of sum-difference monopulse technique, which points out that the highest precision is obtained when the target locates at the sum beam direction, and when the target goes away the sum beam direction, the signal-to-noise ratio decreases, and the measurement error becomes large. Finally the simulation experiments are performed and the above conclusions are demonstrated, and the obtained conclusions are of reference meaning for the practical engineering.
