    Abstract:
    With the enlarging application field of the space-borne SAR system, its requirement becomes more and more complicated.Hence, it is more important to develop a low budget light-SAR for specified need. In this paper, the development of spaceborne light-SAR for small satellite is summarized based on the development status of spaceborne SAR and representative light-SAR, including balanced development strategy, low complexity load, modular rapid response system and satellite networking, multi-system parallel technology route, et al. Combined with typical light SAR systems, the key techniques, character, application and performances of different systems are analyzed and compared.
    2  The Effects of Maneuvering Target on Midcourse and Terminal Guidance Handover of the Seeker

    Abstract:
    Midcourse and terminal guidance handover is an important part of process for weapon seeker. In view of characteristics that the surface-to-air missile uses compound guidance, the expressions of acquisition probability by angle and acquisition probability by distance are derived. The effects of maneuvering target on probability of successful handing off are studied especially. The model of probability of successful handing-off is established which includes the probability that the target falls into the effective field of view and the probability of the target detection. The success probability of handover at any time can be generated by simulation. Finally, the typical tactical maneuvers of horizontal turn and avoiding weaving are analyzed. The conclusions are generally obtained through simulation that there are obvious effects of the stealth aircraft using tactic maneuver on the success probability of midcourse and terminal guidance handover. The study provides a method foundation and experiment evidence for seekers against tactical maneuver of stealth targets.

    Abstract:
    Traditional satellite networks develops in the way of “chimney冶. With the development of technology and diversification of applications, the problems of traditional satellite networks, such as unitary function, isolated from each other, and satellites operations rely on the ground systems, are becoming sharper and sharper. The traditional satellite networks cannot satisfy the urgent needs of military, economy, and people's living standard. The space-ground integrated network makes comprehensive use of novel information network technology and takes advantage of space-based, and ground-based networks, which can support national strategic actions and promote the transmission and sharing of multivariate information. The space-ground integrated network is mainly composed of space-based network and ground-based network, and contains aircrafts networks, sea-based networks, and ground mobile network. According to the development of ground network technology, the space-ground integrated network should have the trend of smartness, coordination, and identification, and the trend of transforming from “host-centric”to” information-centric”.Meanwhile, the development of the space-ground integrated network faces many challenges, such as networking protocol, security guarantee, interconnection and fusion, and on orbit verification.

    Abstract:
    The modulated laser beam is divided into a transmitted light beam and a reflected beam by a beam splitter. Transmitted beam is used as the probe beam, and the reflected beam is used as the reference beam. At the same time, the power of the scattered light at the 35 degree angle of the forward scattering region and the power of the reference beam were measured. Angular scattering coefficient is calculated by the ratio of scattering power to reference power. When the laser output power fluctuates, the probe beam and the reference beam synchronously fluctuate, and the ratio of the scattered light power to the reference optical power is not affected by the fluctuation of the light source. 2 um quartz particles were used as the scattering source, the results tested on the construction of the device show that the angular scattering coefficient is linearly related to the concentration of quartz particles,and the correlation coefficient is 0. 99. Dual channel measurement method can be used for underwater visibility measurement.

    Abstract:
    The earth rotation affects the clutter Doppler frequency, which causes clutter Doppler frequency wider, especially for space-based radar. This effect makes clutter mitigation more difficult which directly affects the performance of target detection. The effect of the earth rotation on the clutter characteristic is studied in this paper, and the conclusions provide support for SBR clutter suppression and moving target detection.

    Abstract:
    Because of the long distance, the error of position estimation of ground moving target became bigger based on the method of interferential phase, which resulted in the method was very difficult to be used. The precision of velocity and position estimation was analyzed of the GMTI method based on the interferential phase. A new method was proposed based on the knowledge aid,which made use of road detection based on the SAR image, and the accuracy of position estimation could be increased greatly. The validity of method was validated using measured data.

    Abstract:
    Aiming at the effect of speckle noise in SAR image matching algorithm, a SAR image matching algorithm based on anisotropic scale space is proposed. Firstly, we use the additive operator splitting solution scheme to build the anisotropic scale space which can better preserve image detail while filter speckle noise at the same time; Then, we extract feature points in the nonlinear scale space, and use the improved SURF descriptors to weaken the effect of speckle noise; Finally points sets are matching based on transform parameter constraints policy filter. This method can maintain the matching accuracy while increase the number of points. Extensive experimental results on different polarization, phase and band SAR images demonstrated that our method can improve the matching accuracy.

    Abstract:
    Aiming to resolving the problem of misclassification resulting from the special samples and the misjudgment of classifier in radar high resolution range profiles (HRRP), a multi-classifier decision fusion based on adaptive-classification-weight method is proposed in this paper. In this method, the K-nearest neighbors and the similarity rule are combined to select the training sample set corresponding to the testing sample, then the confusion matrix is constructed to complete the confidence calculation and screening of classifier adaptively, and finally the classification weights of targets can be obtained and classification result is outputted. Experimental results based on the measured data show that the recognition rate of the proposed method in this paper is better than any of the above classifiers and traditional decision fusions. With the increment of noise interference, the advantage of the proposed method becomes more obvious.

    Abstract:
    A novel method of designing channelized prototype filter based on interpolation in frequency domain is proposed in view of high complexity in existing design method. A low-order filter model with high stopband attenuation was obtained by the proposed algorithm for employing unconstrained iterative processing, then the discrete spectrum of prototype filter with linear phase can be constructed based on the spectrum interpolation model derivated by us. Finally, the IFFT transform is performed to get the prototype filter which is suitable for the character of perfect reconstruction of channelized filter bank. Moreover, the afore mentioned algorithm uses the interpolation of frequency domain in combination with iterative optimizing, which avoids a large number of parameters to be optimized when the prototype filter is designed with a high stopband attenuation. Besides, the image spectrum is saved,which avoids the filter design of image suppressor. Simulation results reveal that the proposed method embraces favorable performance improvements compared with the conventional algorithm of time domain interpolation, and relieves the complexity of design.

    Abstract:
    In order to meet the requirement of the localization of the key components of the digital phased array radar,a digital frequency conversion chip has been developed based on the domestic technology line. The chip is composed of dual channel digital down conversion (DDC) and digital up conversion ( DUC) circuit, could exchange data with FPGA through the LVDS interface and SPI interface. In order to adapting different working situations, the working parameter of the chip, such as the extraction rate,the interpolation rate, the digital local oscillator frequency, the phase offset, the channel amplitude compensation coefficient and the filter coefficients can be modified. By modifying the phase offset of the numerically controlled oscillator( NCO) in the digital converter, the phase shift operation of the receiver and transmitter can be realized, so the TR components that are paired with the chip can cancel the phase shifter. The average power consumption of the chip is greatly reduced by the low power consumption design of the clock gating, and the power supply and the heat radiation pressure are reduced. After the chip test, the chip DDC and DUC pass band ripple <0. 05 dB, stop band attenuation >70 dBc, average power consumption <1. 2 W. The function and performance of the chip meet the application requirements of the system. It provides a new solution for the miniaturization and localization of the phased array radar.

    Abstract:
    While tracking the maneuvering small targets crossing the clutter, there are three major problems for RADAR: loss of the measurement of target, real-time change of the kinetic form and the jamming of clutter. According to the above problems, a modified IMM-IPDA is proposed in this paper. By using existence probability of targets, some manipulation is fed back to the process of tracking and filtering. Based on the realistic application scenarios created in this paper, the maneuvering small target tracking in a cluttered environment is studied. Meanwhile, the effect of target tracking is evaluated and analyzed based on different detection probability. Some analysis results of value are also provided for radar engineering application in actual environment.

    Abstract:
    A track-before-detect(TBD) algorithm is efficient for weak target detection,so it can be used for increasing the maximum radar range. But the application of TBD is restricted because of its large computation. Considering to reduce the elapsed time of TBD, a improved dynamic programming based TBD algorithm is presented, in which the states are reduced by using CFAR processing and the detect probability is excellent by alternate-frame paths researching in addition to recursion phase. Monte-Carlo simulation results show the method is rapid with good detectability.

    Abstract:
    The beam pointing squint phenomenon can be improved or avoided by connecting a true time delay line to each antenna element or sub-array when the phased array antenna operates at wideband mode and transmit/ receive signal with an instantaneous wideband bandwidth. Based on the method of delay remainder, two novel methods have been proposed in this paper to calculate and optimize the codes of true time delay lines and phase-shifters. One is method of trace center frequency which is capable of achieving less beam pointing deviation and lower side-lobe levels when the instantaneous frequency band varies and the other is adaptive minimum step method which can further reduce the beam pointing deviation across the operating frequency band . The proposed methods can be widely utilized in wideband phased array for improving the performance of radiating patterns across a wide-band frequency range. The closed forms corresponding to each method have been derived and several examples have been illustrated to verify the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

    Abstract:
    In this paper, a ultra-wideband (UWB) bandpass filter based on the CPW-microstrip transition structure is improved by loaded-stubs. In order to enhance its selectivity, a T-sharp stub is adopted at the center of microstripe line. This T-sharp stub can generate two transmission zeros at the lower and upper passband edges (2GHz and 14GHz). Besides, the upper stopband of this filter is extended to 16 GHz due to a transmission zero introduced by the fan-shaped open stub. Finally, a prototype of the proposed filter is fabricated and measured for verification. The measured results show that this filter achieves a fractional bandwidth of 131%(2. 6 GHz ~12. 5 GHz), while the measured results are in close agreement with the simulated ones.

    The relationship between geodetic coordinate system and ship coordinate system is analyzed, the three-shaft-stabilized system’s attitude angles of the ship-borne radar in ship coordinate system are defined, when the value of platform compass and the ship-borne radar antenna’s attitude angles are given. A way to the three-shaft-stabilized system’s steady-state equations is provided by use of space analytic geometry method, which provides a theoretical basis for the serve control of the three-shaft-stabilized platform.

    Abstract:
    A wideband signal generating technique based on multiple-channel direct digital synthesis (DDS) in parallel is proposed for wideband radar signal generation. Using field programmable gate array chips, digital chirp signals are generated by the multiple-channel DDS architecture in each channel with variable phase difference at intermediate frequency. In addition, phase compensation is applied to multiple-channel signal before they are synthesized into a wideband signal at output by the high鄄speed digital/analog converter. Simulation and experimental results show that using the proposed technique, wideband signals can be generated at intermediate frequency in large instantaneous bandwidth at the advantages of easy implementation, high resolution in frequency and high-speed frequency conversion.

    Abstract:
    In order to make full use of the spatial diversity of statistic multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar, the detection method and performance of long baseline (antenna spacing and target detection range is comparable) statistic MIMO radar are studied. Firstly, the channel signal model of long baseline statistic MIMO radar is given according to the radar equation. Then the likelihood ratio test detector of long baseline statistic MIMO radar is derived according to Neyman-Pearson criterion. Finally, the detection performance of long baseline statistic MIMO radar is analyzed by the simulation of detection probability and coverage. The simulation results show that the detection performance of long baseline statistic MIMO radar is better than that of short baseline (the distance between the antenna is negligible when compared to target detection range) statistic MIMO radar. The research results have important reference value for the research of the system design, antenna placement and practical application of the statistic MIMO radar.

    Abstract:
    An shading area-controlled shift-frequency jamming method is presented for synthetic aperture radar (SAR). While the carrier frequency of the interference is stepped between pulse to pulse to generate the coupling effect between range and azimuth,an azimuth shift-frequency is added. The combination of them provides an area-controlled shading jamming. The unique of the jamming method is that the energy can only appear on the target that needs to be covered, so that less jamming energy is needed. Simulation results verify the analysis and its jamming effectiveness for SAR.

    Abstract:
    Automatic fault diagnosis and health management has become an important function of ground-based radar, high quality testability design is the basis of realizing the function. The testability design of ground鄄based radar includes three levels: system,subsystem and module. Aiming at the system level testability requirements of ground-based radar, the design flow of system level testability, the design method of the system built-in test and the design method of central test system are proposed. The system function test and fault isolation scheme of a new type of digital array radar are introduced. The design method proposed in this paper can be used to improve the design quality of ground-based radar.
