Instruction to Authors
(Please read carefully)
1. The paper should use fluent words and clear logic. Under the premise of no influence to integrity of basic idea expression, the sentences, charts and equations should be shorten, the derivation and demonstration should be simplified, making the whole paper no more than 6000 words (including charts).
2. English version of the title, author’s name and author’s affiliation should be listed. The title should no more than 18 words, with 3~8 keywords in both Chinese and English, Chinese abstract about 200~400 words and English abstract about 250 notional words. The abstract is an individual short essay in the third person, containing important information equal to the paper, such as the purpose, method, result and conclusion.
3. Capital or lower case, superscript or subscript forms and their meanings of characters in the paper and equations should be given clearly. Characters of vector and matrix should be in black. Words, variables, units and numbers in the charts should be clear. Graphs should be in black and white, with description, physical quantity and its unit. The equations should be listed with serial numbers.
4. Standard forms of reference are as follows:
Reference types: monograph [M], collected papers [C], newspaper [N], journal [J], dissertation [D], report [R], standard [S], patent [P], analyzed documents [A]
Electronic reference type: data base [DB], computer [CP], electronic bulletin [EB]
Carrier type of electronic reference: on line [OL], compact disc [CD], magnetic tape [MT], diskette [DK]
a. Monograph, collected papers, dissertation, report
[Serial number] main author. Paper title [paper type]. Place of publication: publisher, publication year, page number.
b. Journal
[Serial number] main author. Paper title [J]. Journal title, year, volume (issue): paper number.
c. Analyzed documents
[Serial number] main author of analyzed document. Tile of analyzed document [A]. main author of original document (optional). Original document tile [C]. place of publication: publisher, year: page number.
d. Newspaper
[Serial number] main author. Paper title [N]. Newspaper title, publication date (issue).
e. Electronic referece
[reference type/ carrier type]: [J/OL] online journal, [EB/OL] online electronic bulletin, [M/CD] compact disc monograph, [DB/OL] online database, [DB/MT] magnetic tape database
[Serial number] main author. Tile of electronic paper [type of electronic paper and its carrier]. Publication or access address, update/ quotation date.
5. Referred scientific research project, background information and main creativeness of the paper should be stated when submit the paper. Project number of important foundation projects and ministry or province level scientific research projects should be given, owing advantage of preference for acceptance and publication.
6. Check the authors (authors and affiliations) and sequence, in avoidance of intellectual property rights dispute. Affiliations here mean the affiliation owning the achievement, but not study place or workshop of the author.
7. If the author is still a student, tutor’s information should be given. If the paper is to be accepted, tutors should check the academic morality and content of the paper, and send a confirmation letter to the editorial department.
8. Two months after receiving the paper, reviews’ comments will be given. The paper should not submit to other journals during paper review period. Revised paper should be submitted in a month after receiving revising requirements. Explanations should be given in time for time-delay.
9. Editorial department has a right for necessary deletion and revision. After publication, two journals and remuneration will be sent to the author.
10. Before publication printing, the author should proofread the paper, in case of errors during edition and composition. To keep the efficiency of review, edition and composition, no big revise should be made during proofread, or the paper will be treated as newly submitted paper, and the author should pay for the loss the editorial department.
11. The author should contact the editorial department if self information or contact information have changed, giving convenience for sending journal and remuneration.
12. Check the originality of the paper. Copy and plagiarism are forbidden. If other people’s research is quoted, source and reference should be given, with distinctions marked in the paper. (After considering proper quotation, paper with high reproduction ratio according to academic misconduct test result of CNKI will be rejected. Please mark the quoted reference correctly.)
13. Before publication, similar research content should be checked in case of duplicate submission. For duplicated submission, the paper submitted to other journals should be retracted before submitted to our journal, and basic explanation should be given.
14. If the paper is to be submitted for academic conference at home and abroad and our journal simultaneously, please give the name of the conference, host unit and conference date.
15. Modern Radar has joined Chinese Academic Journal (CD version), CNKI and ChinaInfo. Copyright fee and remuneration will be given in a lump sum. Statement should be given when the paper is submitted for not joined in the database.
16. English papers are also published by our journal, so original scientific papers in English are welcomed. English papers should use fluent language and accord with scientific English expression, with Chinese title, abstract, keywords and both Chinese and English introduction about the author.
